The project and its requirements

The memorial, built in 1923, was damaged by an earthquake and required foundation strengthening. Its location near the river and coast increased the need for corrosion protection.

How the reinforcement was used

MateenBar™ was installed in the rehabilitated foundations. The lower weight of long bars made handling easier on site.
