The project and its requirements
The Dubai system drains water from the Dubai World Central area. During tunnel construction, it was important that reinforcement at openings did not obstruct the boring machines.
How the reinforcement was used
MateenBar™ and shaped elements were used in diaphragm walls and details through which the tunnel boring machine passed.
